Thank you for taking the time to visit my website, I do hope you like what you see. Here you will find a selection of my works from original paintings to prints some just to view and others for purchase.
As you will see I paint in two particular mediums Oil and Watercolour as I feel as though these mediums enable me to reach the desired effect that I am after.
I started painting when I was about eleven, going out on sketching days with my father and other members of the Hornsea Art Society. I progressed from sketching houses and landscapes too subjects that interested me more such as Traction Engines, Vintage Cars, Steam Trains and not forgetting Motorcycles.
I sold my first work at the age of Thirteen in the local ‘Winter Art Exhibition’ which is held annually at the Ferens Art Gallery Kingston Upon Hull which surprised and delighted me, so I entered another painting into the ‘Spring Exhibition’ at the Beverley Library, that also sold and from that moment I was hooked.
Over the years I have painted for many exhibitions throughout the U.K and for various charities. My works have been purchased by many people throughout the world. I have also done many commissions for customers over the years whether it has been a painting, sketch, brochures or book publication, I do find that very interesting and not forgetting the challenge that it gives me,and I hope that it continues.
Now in recent times the internet has been a very succesful tool, which has enabled me to reach a greater and wider audience and to show people how versatile my work is. It has also been a big benefit to me for the feedback that I receive and to this end I hope that it continues.
Well now that’s a brief outline regarding my work, if you would like any further information please don’t hesitate to contact me. You will find my e-mail address and a contact form in contact details, I look forward to hearing from you.
